No Guest ~ On Location In New York
Script Notes: Thanks in large part to John Crosby,
columnist for the Post, New Yorkers were among the country's most devoted
Peapickers--Ernie was as big in the boroughs as he was in the heartland--and
this first of two shows done back-to-back in Manhattan is evidence of that
incredible popularity. Highlights include a Classic performance of 'Sixteen
Tons', and the only live performance in existence of 'Wayfaring Pilgrim'.
