Script Notes: Thanks in large part to John Crosby, columnist for the Post, New Yorkers were among the country's most devoted Peapickers--Ernie was as big in the boroughs as he was in the heartland--and this first of two shows done back-to-back in Manhattan is evidence of that incredible popularity. Highlights include a Classic performance of 'Sixteen Tons', and the only live performance in existence of 'Wayfaring Pilgrim'.

Script Notes: In this second of Ernie's two back-to-back shows from the Big Apple, Tony and Academy Award Nominee (not to mention Rosie Clooney's husband) Jose Ferrar,  enlists Ernie's help in casting a leading lady for his next Broadway production. Everything goes smoothly until Ernie actually decides to help!
